I’m Manisha, a travel enthusiast who has spent the last eight years travelling and exploring across the world for both work and pleasure. My incredible adventure into the world of cruise vacations began unexpectedly in 2017, when a group of friends invited me to join them on a cruise around the stunning Mediterranean.
With little reason to refuse such an attractive offer, I boarded on what appeared to be a massive ‘boat.’ My first cruise journey was marked by memorable experiences. After a week on the ship, I disembarked with renewed enthusiasm for cruise vacations. I was mesmerized by the vast possibilities of cruise travel.
It wasn’t until about a year later, when I moved to Europe, that I fully fell in love with the world of cruising. This marked the start of many incredible voyages, with me traveling on over different ships, each one giving a new and unique adventure.
2. About CruiseRise: The Story of This Website's Creation
During one of my cruise travels, I was traveling with three of my friends. They were completely new to cruising, and it was at this point that I learned that most of the material available online regarding cruising was, to say the least, inaccurate.
My friends had a lot of misconceptions and beliefs about cruising destinations, as well as where to eat and what to do on and off the cruise. I understood later that they had spent a lot of money they didn’t need to.
That is why this website is created: to provide you with the best possible advice and information on Cruise Restaurants, Excursions, Amenities, and other related topics, for saving you money & time and to enhance your cruise experience.
3. Mission of CruiseRise
The goal of this website is to produce accurate and useful stuff that I was never able to discover online and to provide other cruisers with the best advice and suggestions so they can make well-informed decisions before cruising.
You can get lots of reviews and cruise tips on this website. Any information regarding a particular ship that CruiseRise publishes that I haven’t personally visited will have been “crowd-sourced” from a variety of reviews and sources, and its correctness will have been verified.
